Are you a facility manager, building engineer or property owner that is interested in how indoor air quality (IAQ) affects the occupants of your space? The Certified Indoor Air Quality Manager (CIAQM) course is designed to help you diagnose indoor environmental problems in your building, correct those problems, and prevent them from ever happening again. The course gives you practical steps to establish an IAQ Management Plan for your facility that will help you collect, log and resolve air quality complaints.

The course also prepares you for the only accredited certification specifically designed for those that manage indoor air quality problems, sponsored by the American IAQ Council. The certification requires certain experience, fees and passing an examination offered at computerized testing centers throughout the US. Specific questions about the examination or your experience qualifying for the certification must be directed to the American Indoor Air Quality Council (800-942-0832, www.iaqcouncil.org).

You will be able to save the entire text portion of the course as a PDF file so you can reference the material even after you have completed the course.

If multiple people from the same company would like to attend the online course, each student must purchase a "seat" in the course. The IP address of your computer is recorded and monitored to verify conformance. Discounts are available to groups wanting to send 5 or more students through the online program.

You receive 100 days of access to the online training. If your time expires before finishing, you can purchase a 100-day extension for $100. To purchase an extension, please click HERE.

If your company would like our trainers to teach the CIAQM course privately in your facility, please call our office at 312-920-9393 for details. The course can be taught with a hybrid approach where students take one day online and one day on-site.

Taking our CIAQM course does not automatically make you certified, although you will receive a certificate of completion from the Indoor Air Quality Association. To register for the exam, you must contact the American Indoor Air Quality Council at 800-942-0832 (www.iaqcouncil.org). The exam is offered at computerized testing centers throughout the US. There are additional fees associated with getting certified.
